Rain Killer
The Rain Killer isa sunshine-in-a-glass tiki drink designed to ward off dreary weather. Fresh lime and orange juices provide a citrusy base, chased away by the sweetness of pineapple juice. Light rum adds a subtle spirit character, but it's the dash of Angostura bitters that brings the magic. These aromatic bitters add a touch of complexity and warmth, hinting at baking spices and defying the rainy day blues. Garnished with a sprig of mint and a lime wedge, the Rain Killer is a refreshing and flavorful escape to a brighter, more tropical place.

- 1.5 oz Lightly Aged/Filtered Rum 1 1/4 oz Don Q Cristal, 1/4 oz Vale d'Paul Agricole-style
Citrus
- 0.5 oz Lime Juice
- 0.5 oz Orange Juice
- 0.5 oz Pineapple Juice
Flavors & Sweeteners
- 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
Additions
- 1 Dash Angostura Bitters

Operational Procedure
- Mix all ingredients with ice and strain into glass with ice. Garnish.
Notes
While the original recipe calls for a 1/4 oz of an Agricole rum, I am excluding that since it is such a small portion in the cocktail. However, feel free to add it if you have it available.
